I’ve been using Patreon for almost as long as Patreon has existed.

They launched in 2013 and I joined shortly after in 2014. I love the platform and know it well. Helping other creators understand how Patreon works and building a strategy together is one of my favourite things to do.

The industry is shifting and more and more creators are looking for alternative ways of monetising away from brand deals and to a more community-funded approach. As a creator myself, the support from people on Patreon over the years has allowed me to do what I do for as long as I have without burning out or having to compromise on my values. This is something I wish for all creators.
